Why I Want to Be a Front-End Developer and How HNG Will Help Me Achieve My Goals
Hey guys! 👋🏾 It's been a while since I wrote a blog post, and I'm happy to be back. Today, we're going to talk about why I want to become a front-end developer (even though I already consider myself one).
My Why!
One of the main reasons is my passion for creating visually appealing and effective interfaces. When I started my coding journey, I began with the basics—HTML and CSS—and that's where my passion took off. I quickly fell in love with the idea of using lines of code to create something beautiful and useful for users everywhere. Whenever I visit a website or an app, I pay attention to the impact or feeling its design has on me, and I always wonder how the developer achieved that. I want to have that same effect on the users who experience my work.
Additionally, I aspire to use my expertise not just to leave a memorable impression on my users, but also to develop solutions that significantly impact people's lives. I want to create everything from simple, everyday solutions like personal portfolios to more complex, specialized solutions such as those in the fintech industry. By doing so, I aim to address real-world problems and provide users with tools that can enhance their daily experiences and improve their quality of life. Whether it's designing an intuitive interface for a personal website or developing a seamless user experience for a financial application, my goal is to make a meaningful difference through my work.

Where does HNG12 come in?
Participating in the HNG simulation offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in teams composed of both designers and developers. This experience will allow me to gain firsthand insight into the dynamics of teamwork in a professional setting. By engaging with diverse team members, I will have the chance to explore and expand my skill set, applying my existing knowledge while also learning new techniques and approaches. This collaborative environment will enable me to understand how different roles complement each other in the development process, ultimately enhancing my ability to contribute effectively to projects. Through this experience, I hope to refine my skills, adapt to various challenges, and better prepare myself for future professional endeavours in the tech industry.
